Green Team Enterprises, Inc. D/b/a GTE Builders was founded by Andy Welz and Jon Rogers in 1994. Jon and Andy are native Floridians attending Saint John Paul II high school in Boca Raton.

Andy Welz graduated in 1992 with a degree in Construction Management from the University of Florida’s ME Rinker School of Building Construction and is a State of Florida Certified General Contractor CGC 057160.   Prior to co-founding GTE Builders, Andy worked for a large commercial contractor and a large residential developer. 

Jon Rogers graduated with a degree in Business from Florida State University in 1992 and is also a State of Florida Certified General Contractor CGC 1515083.  Prior to co-founding GTE Builders, Jon worked for SOS Children’s Village developing a community of a dozen homes in Coconut Creek. 

Jon and Andy have been building luxury, custom homes, renovations, and boutique commercial projects for the past 26 years.  We have the relationships with local subcontractors and craftsmen necessary to create an enjoyable building experience.  You are not handed off to a super or project manager, you are working directly with a principal of GTE Builders.   We are interested in building relationships one project at a time, with personal attention to every detail. 

We could hire more staff and build more homes, but that is not who we are or what we do.
